We’re so happy you’ll be joining us in Nigeria! Most guests who are not Nigerian citizens will need a single-entry visiting visa (F6A) to enter Nigeria for the wedding and celebrations. This is a short-stay visa for social visits such as attending family events or tourism. Please scroll down for more information on travel and accommodation.

How to Apply

Nigeria has modernised its visa process — applications are now completed online through the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) portal. Once your application is submitted and fees are paid, you may need to attend a biometric appointment through an approved visa application centre like Online Integrated Solutions (OIS) in London, depending on the current process.

Apply online here:

What You’ll Typically Need

While specific requirements can vary, most single-entry visitors should prepare the following:

  • A valid passport with at least 6 months’ remaining validity
  • Complete the online visa application and pay fees via the official portal
  • Passport-sized photo (meet Nigerian visa photo standards)
  • Return flight itinerary
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or host address in Nigeria)
  • Invitation letter from us (we’re happy to provide this on request)
  • Evidence of sufficient funds for your stay

This visa (F6A) is valid for a single entry, allows visiting for social purposes (e.g., family events), and usually covers up to 30–90 days.
